PWB
MEMBERSHIP
Our Professional Women in Building group is an official council of the Utah HBA. We host events, help each other and our communities, and work together on projects like The House That She Built. Our goals are to support women in home building and bring more women into our industry.
WHAT WE DO
WITH THE DUES
PWB membership requires only $100 annual dues. Fifty dollars is sent directly to the National Professional Women in Building. They use this money to promote women in home building through educational programs, networking, and scholarships. They also have special benefits for members such as free online educational seminars, special sessions (and snacks) at IBS, and national recognition programs. You can find more information at https://www.nahb.org/NAHB-Community/Councils/Professional-Women-in-Building-Council/Why-Professional-Women-in-Building
Locally, we keep fifty dollars per member for our Utah PWB council. This money will be used to educate women and girls about the opportunities in home building and for programs like The House That She Built. Typically our lunches and socials are sponsored, but we may use dues for special events as needed.
HOW TO JOIN
Fill out the form on this page! The dues can be paid by credit card or check (please reach out to us if you are signing up multiple members or mailing a check). We strongly encourage you to be a member of a local HBA, but it is not a requirement to join the Utah PWB. If you choose to serve in a leadership role, you will need to have an active HBA membership.
