The House That SHE Built: We’re Making a Children’s Book!
As if this project couldn’t get more exciting – we’re publishing a children’s book!
The House That SHE Built has been an amazing endeavor in its own right. But we realized that it could also be a launching pad for something even less traditional: a children’s book about women in the construction industry!
To honor the amazing women in construction and inspire younger girls to pursue less-traditional career paths, we’re working with NAHB and Group Two Advertising to publish a book inspired by the entire THTSB project. (We owe a HUGE thank you to Mollie Elkman and Georgia Castellano for contributing their writing and illustration skills.)
Building the home has been an incredible journey, and this is the icing on the cake! We’ll be releasing Advanced Reader Copies in April, with the book itself being published in September 2021.
The House That SHE Built has done so much to inspire and bring us all together. We’re grateful for this opportunity to reach even further, and we can’t wait to see this book in the hands of your little ones.
